Jeanelle is a New York State Licensed and Certified Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist, Evaluator, and Adjunct Professor. She is committed to Neurodiversity Affirming, Child-Led, and Sensory-Play-Based therapy. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and a Professional Certificate in Teaching Students with Speech and Language Disabilities, supplemented with a Bilingual Extension in Spanish.
Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Individualized Studies focusing on Hospitality Communication and Marketing from the State University of New York College at Buffalo and a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Long Island University, Brooklyn Campus. Jeanelle has earned her Doctorate in Executive Leadership from St. John Fisher University, with coursework conducted at the Iona University Campus, and is working towards a School District Leader (SDL) Professional Certificate.

Jeanelle has worked across New York's five boroughs and is embarking on opening her private practice, "Shift We Said Speech Therapy," which reflects her dedication and expertise in the field, aiming to provide innovative and personalized speech therapy services. She also contributes her skills and knowledge to the Yonkers Public Schools in Westchester, returning to the community where she was raised, and serves as an Adjunct Professor at Molloy University. Her practice includes providing home-based evaluations and offering hybrid-model speech-language therapy—both monolingual and bilingual (Spanish)—catering to special and general education needs.
Her expertise encompasses Bilingualism, Autism, Augmentative and Alternative Communication, Fluency Disorders, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, and Social-Emotional Learning/Pragmatic Language Delays, with a focus on Behavioral Deficits and Social-Emotional Learning. Jeanelle advocates for transparent, collaborative communication among providers and families to enhance the quality of care for her clients.
